Day Training
Does your dog need training but you don't have the time or energy to do it yourself? Day Training is the perfect solution! We'll come to your home and work with your dog in 45-minute sessions several times a week. You choose which cues you'd like us to train, and we'll do the rest!
We offer day training packages of three, six, or ten sessions. What's the difference between them? How fully trained your chosen behaviors are: The more sessions, the more solidly trained the cues.
All of our Day Training packages include regular progress reports and a follow-up in-home private "transfer" session.

in-Home Private Training
In-home private training is ideal if your dog doesn’t play well with others or your busy schedule makes it difficult to get to group classes. Our training methods build your dog’s focus, increase impulse control, and improve reliability.
We’re happy to work with dogs of all breeds and ages, with a training option for everyone! Our training packages include teaching you general learning theory, husbandry and handling, appropriate play, socialization, enrichment, how to read body language, one-on-one coaching, and more. Of course they also include training your dog good manners like Sit, Down, Come, Drop It, Leave It, leash manners, polite greetings, etc. The difference between our programs is that each one is tailored to your dog's lifestage.
Our Pawsome Puppy Package starts your puppy off on the right paw with basic good manners cues and common puppy-specific topics including house training, confinement training, socialization, husbandry and handling, destructive chewing, mouthing, etc.
Have an Awesome Adolescent? We know it can be a challenging time. We'll help you cope with your dog's increasing energy and excitability, as well as common behavior challenges like counter surfing, house training, "selective hearing," inappropriate chewing, jumping, etc. You'll learn how to build frustration tolerance, improve impulse control, and manage your dog's environment to prevent undesirable behavior.
Is your dog a Good Dog with bad manners? Good Dog Good Manners includes training a wide range of behaviors and cues, how to prevent common behavioral challenges, enrichment, handling, play, and more!
Our in-home training packages include an initial 2.5 hour appointment and seven 1-hour sessions.

Group Classes
We offer something for everyone! From puppy kindergarten to advanced manners, our experienced, certified trainers will teach you how to train a variety of cues in a safe, supportive environment. We limit class enrollment to ensure you get plenty of one-on-one coaching.
Group dog training classes take place outdoors at Wyolina Kennels Resort, located at 1621 Pembrook Road in Harrisburg, NC.
Group dog training classes may not be appropriate for all dogs. If your dog is reactive toward people or other dogs, please contact us to discuss the most appropriate training solution for your dog.
For everyone’s safety, all dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations.

Sleepover Camp
Boarding your dog or bringing them to daycare at Wyolina Kennels in Harrisburg? We offer a la carte training sessions to teach new cues or refresh previous training. You choose which cues you'd like us to train, and we'll do the rest!
We'll visit your dog at Wyolina for 45-minute training sessions. Training while boarding or attending daycare provides valuable mental stimulation, enrichment, and extra exercise. Sleepover Camp includes progress reports, photos and/or videos.
Sleepover Camp is best suited for training your dog basic good manners cues. If you have more advanced training in mind or if your dog is overly fearful, reactive, or aggressive, please contact us to discuss which training option is most appropriate for your dog.
Please note that our rate does not include Wyolina Kennels' boarding or daycare fee.
